We Are HOME!

Our granddaughters, Brystol and Brynn, live along Highway 22 and always come out and wave with a sign as we are leaving for harvest and when we return!

We are home and, to be honest, I have to look at my phone to see what day it is!
It took two trips, back and forth, to get everything home. We are short a CDL driver (if anyone is available, give us a call)!

Anyway we got right to work and by work, that means everything from cleaning to maintenance, to replacing concaves, and flipping the knives all for the hard threshing spring wheat.

Anyways, the train horn you hear in the video really is what these last few days have been like —-a rush and BIG busy!

Sometimes a snap photo is all I’ve got. 🤣

Anyways, we made it home and we are now cutting our own wheat.

I told Myron and Mason I do not even want to know what it’s yielding or how it’s doing. Because, honestly, until it’s sold, we don’t have a true answer…besides, it takes some stress away and it is what it is.  We pray for enough. Besides, there is plenty for me to do with the house/camper/feeding/laundry and office.

Any spare time, I want to see our grandkids. ❤️ Which, by the way, I did get hugs from all! Life is good and full and crazy and what I love!

And so it goes – it is what it is! Back to work!
