Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3 cups cut rhubarb
- 1 recipe Orange Pastry
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- Add 1 tablespoon grated orange peel to pastry recipe.
Orange Pastry
Instructions
- Combine sugar, tapioca, salt, nutmeg, orange juice, and rhubarb; place in 9-inch pie pan lined with Orange Pastry. Top with strawberries and dot with butter.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
