Hard to believe it’s mid-March! Let’s back up a bit and catch everyone up on what’s been going on for the last few months.
Last year, I gave a few updates as our house was building built. It finally arrived on our property on January 20th!!
It was a very cold and windy day but we all stood outside and watched the amazing process of sliding it over the top of our basement! Once the house was set, the process of finishing the basement started. We still haven’t moved in but we are SO CLOSE!
This winter, Dillon and I have been hauling a lot of grain. We purchased a grain vac and extractor and have been helping local farmers “clean up” grain bags. With trucking, boys’ basketball games and working on our house, we have stayed very busy.
The end of February, I enjoyed another trip to Omaha, Nebraska for the annual HarvestHER retreat. What a wonderful time I have catching up with all these amazing women. It is the best place to reset and recharge to get ready for another harvest season.
