Lemon Bar Magic Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box French vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients to make)
  • Lemon Bar Filling
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
  • Frosting
  • 1 (1oz) sugar free instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 8 (oz) container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13 pan
  2. Mix cake mix according to instruction on the package and pour into pan. DO NOT BAKE, set aside.
  3. Combine the lemon bar filling ingredients. Whisk together and pour into pan with prepared cake mix.
  4. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. Combine the frosting ingredients and spread over cooled cake. Garnish with a little lemon zest and chill till ready to serve.
