No one usually gives the truck drivers enough credit.
It’s not just being behind the wheel. There’s so much more that goes into it while harvesting. Here in North Dakota, a lot of grain is stored in grain bins or bags or in buildings.
So the job calls for moving and handling augers and tractors, as well as going up and down checking the bin levels and truck levels. It makes for a long day – especially in the heat, dust and wind.
So when you’re looking at combines in the field, always remember the grain has to be moved, hauled, binned and accounted for.
Thank a trucker!
We all need to thank truckers of all kinds because without them, things would simply stop. They are doing a job that not many can handle, especially the ones filling grain bins and moving grain on 90 degree days.
God Bless Truckers!
