Ingredients

  • Beef
  • Green Peppers
  • Onions
  • Pepper Jack cheese slices
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • French Bread

Instructions

  1. Beef...Cooked and shredded. I use my crockpot and inexpensive cuts that can roast all day - even leftover roast will work. It's your choice. Season to your liking.
  2. Start with a loaf of French bread, split in half. Buttered (or not) and toasted under the broiler.
  3. Add pepper jack cheese and also melt under the broiler.
  4. Simmer sliced peppers and onions in butter and add to shredded meat.
  5. Layer the meat and onions and peppers over the melted pepper jack and top with provolone cheese. Broil till melted.
  6. By toasting the bread first, it makes a better, more soft and crunchy sandwich. Slice and enjoy!
