Mom's Breakfast Burritos
Ingredients
- hash browns
- scrambled eggs (I add salt, pepper and a splash of milk to them)
- Jimmy Dean's Original sausage
- Santiago's green chili
- Cheese
- Tortilla's
Instructions
- Cooked hash browns and added pepper and salt. Once cooked, I set them aside in a separate bowl.
- Cook the sausage in the same pan. (Makes for less dishes to clean!) I set aside.
- Whisk eggs, milk, pepper and salt together and in the same skillet (sausage removed), I scramble the eggs.
- Once everything is cooked, I assemble the goodness. I laid a tortilla down, put hash browns down the center, a little bit of sausage on top of that, eggs, a good helping of green chili and handfuls of cheese. (Because you can never have too much cheese!)
- Fold the tortillas and wrap them in plastic wrap. I smash them into a ziplock bag and into the freezer they go.
- *You can replace the meat choice. My mom once used bacon. I really love sausage.
