Kylee DeBock – DeBock Harvesting
The kids and I have been home for a few weeks now and we are trying to get back into a routine. The kids started back to school on Wednesday of the week we got home. I stayed home to get my house, yard, bills and everything else done that comes from being gone for five months. I started back to work on Monday. I am the kindergarten aide at my kid’s school. Last year was my first year and I really enjoyed it a lot. This year, my son, Riggin, is in kindergarten so it has been fun seeing him learn new things each day.
Dillon, Levi and Ryan are still up in Iowa cutting soybeans. We took a leap of faith by taking the Iowa job not knowing what to expect but it turned out to be a blessing. We went there for 600 acres and were able to pick up another 1,200. One job came from the farmer finding the DeBock Harvesting Facebook page! I was super excited about that. We have been contacted on our FB page for acres before but they just haven’t fit into our schedule. So, I was happy this job worked out.
Colston is playing basketball this year for the school and games are on Tuesdays or Thursdays and he is enjoying that very much!! Also, our rodeos started up again last weekend. Since we can’t rodeo in the summer, we take our kids to a winter series in Kingman, Kansas. So, we are keeping ourselves very busy!
I hope everyone is having a great week!
God Bless,
Kylee DeBock
