Kylee DeBock – DeBock Harvesting
I just finished making supper as I heard the rain pounding down on the roof of the camper. Looks like dinner won’t be at the field tonight.
We finished cutting in Powers Lake, North Dakota last week and moved our crew to a new job in Humeston, Iowa. We have never cut here before so we are enjoying the stunning colors of Iowa. The leaves on the trees are the most vibrant red, yellow and orange; as well as, the grass being as green as I have ever seen. Just picture perfect. Usually, at home when the trees start changing, the grass has already started to die. But here, you can see the stunning colors of the trees, as well as the bright, green grass.
We unloaded and got everything ready to start cutting the next day. Colston is back driving the grain cart and he couldn’t be happier. Riggin has been going to the field everyday, too; he likes being Ryan’s sidekick! We have enjoyed having the boys back in the field, but as much as we want to stay together, we will be needing to head home soon so the kids can get back in school.
While on our move to Iowa, the newest addition to the DeBock family was born. Dillon’s youngest brother, Casey, and his wife, Kortney, welcomed their first child into the world on October 17th…just one day shy of being born on his Papa Levi’s birthday! Cutter Tate is perfect in every way and we can’t wait to meet him when we get home and off the road.
Here’s hoping you are surrounded by loved ones and enjoying life!
God Bless,
Kylee DeBock
For this child I have prayed, and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.
