So our granddaughter, Maci, drove over today!🤣 She didn’t have much time to stop and chat because she had to go and show Papa her “wheels”. However, she did stop on the way back from the shop to tell me Papa helped her go fast by taking the screw out of the shifter and putting it in second gear!
I hope I get a lot of visits!

Safety Meeting!
Darian explaining why his cab is a little “cluttered”.
Today was a clean-up, fix-up kind of day, Tomorrow, the guys will go to Kenmare and bring the rest of the equipment and men’s camper home. It was much cooler and we had a few sprinkles but tonight we are in for a “shower”. So the sweatshirts have come out 😊
What’s for supper?
Red potatoes are the best for mashed! From this…
…to this.
I have baked meatballs before but almost always go back to frying them, dredged in a little flour! I simply have bread crumbs, eggs, seasoning and a package of dry onion soup mix in the hamburger.
Fry them on all sides in a little Crisco.
My gravy is simple: beef bouillon, chicken bouillon, water and seasoning. I thicken with a little flour and then add about a cup or so of cream…makes the smoothest brown gravy ever! Simply remove the meatballs make the gravy and put the balls back.😊
SUPPER…including CherryBars for dessert (in the background)!
Nancy has been making the custom harvest journey with her husband, Myron, since 1982. In those early years of life on the road, she could be found in the combine or truck - along with any or all of their four children. These days, her time is mostly spent taking care of two campers, walking to the clothesline and back, cooking on the grill, paperwork in the office and windshield time in the cab of a pickup. Whatever it takes to “get ‘er done”! When Myron and Nancy aren't on the road, they call South Heart, North Dakota home.
