Kylee DeBock – DeBock Harvesting
Wow! The last day of July! How is that even possible? I used to think the summers drug on forever, but now that we have kids in school it seems to fly by so fast. We will be putting our boys in school at North Dakota again this year. The school year will start on August 23, and both boys are very excited about seeing their North Dakota friends again. Colston’s class kept in close touch with him after we returned home; he received cards made from each individual student for Halloween and Christmas. Colston would write letters back telling his class about what was going in Oklahoma. I am glad they are looking forward to school, makes the decision to put them back in school up here much easier.
We are cutting in Havre, MT at Four Wind Farms! We love being here with this family. Our farmer has kids our children’s ages so it has been lots of fun for our boys. Riggin even got to enjoy going to swimming lessons with the farmers kids for two weeks. He did great and passed his level, he was so proud of himself.
Ryan is a local Havre boy and will be joining our crew for the rest of the year. He just graduated diesel mechanic school in Phoenix, Arizona in July so he will be a great asset to our business. Anatolii will be heading home early this year so we are happy to welcome Ryan to our crew. Ryan hopes to make the entire run with us next year and we will be grateful for his help.We have finished the winter wheat and peas and after a few days of waiting on the spring wheat to ripen, we are back in the fields today. The crew is excited to get back to work. One of our days off was spent at Bear Paw Lake, we had so much fun swimming and fishing. We packed up some coolers with sandwich stuff and drinks and had quite the spread for lunch at the lake. Fun was had by all. We also got to have a movie/sleepover at our camper. The kids enjoyed Gatorade and popcorn while watching Mrs. Doubtfire.

Happy Harvesting!
