Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting Inc.
We got going here at the farm yesterday. Temperatures remain in the 90’s.
In this video, Jordan is running the grain cart.

What we are able to cut is averaging anywhere from 12-21 bushels to the acre. The moisture is staying plenty dry for binning it. We finally have all 3 machines running.
Last night, the crew enjoyed the monster truck show. This morning after mass, everyone looked forward to a full day of cutting. We have been back home a few days and those first 72 hours are always a blur.
Since we have been home, some of our corn has received about 1/2 inch of rain but in many, many cases…it’s just too little too late.
These are our sunflowers which didn’t come up for like 6 weeks after they were planted! The rain brought some life but, all in all, they are of every size and shape.
They are rolling along between 5 and 6 miles per hour, so things are going quickly!
