Brittany Van Driesten – Van Driesten Harvesting
It’s pretty uneventful around here the last few days, we have packed up from Syracuse, Kansas and are headed north to our last USA stop – Fort Benton, Montana. The first day was a slow day – blowing a tire and having other trailer issues. It’s all part of moving, I guess. We have been fortunate over the years we have been doing this to have our moves pretty uneventful and we would like to keep it that way!
First night on the road, we had a little visitor, it was tempting to take him along although I don’t think my one dog, Phoenix, would approve!
Last night (Friday), we were able to take the crew to Mount Rushmore. It was dark when we got there but we were able to take in the amphitheater and the boys went back this morning to see it in the daylight and we hit the road early this morning.
I cannot believe how fast this summer has gone by. Wyatt has been keeping me too busy, it seems every year it gets faster and faster! He still loves combine rides but I do think he prefers the Pete with his Daddy. FaceTime has been enjoyed by some family members and we are hoping they will come visit us in Montana!!
Sandy, the owner of the campground has been waiting patiently to see Wyatt for over a year and she sure loves him already!!
