Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting, Inc.
Just this morning after mass, I received this picture from Zach. It was taken last evening near Gurley, Nebraska (where we have one machine cutting). I couldn’t help but notice the dark between the light of the two rainbows.
I had a lot on my mind this morning. From the near miss (within five miles) of the 5,100 acre plus fire in Dunn County, North Dakota (luckily, the wind switched) which is where one of our son’s pasture (and cattle) is and the near miss of our other son’s home as a neighboring implement fire was “too close for comfort”. Not to mention the impending visit of the insurance adjuster for our crops (already claimed a “disaster”) at home this morning. In the next week alone, there are triple digit temps in the forecast and no rain mentioned except for the 20% chance one of the seven days .
I picked the right place to go this morning and be. Everyone is affected by Mother Nature in one way or another. We have to find a way to keep moving forward…my way is mass.
