Of the last five days, we cut or sampled the fields in three of them. Always keeping an eye on the sky as storms brew up nightly.
Dylan is currently in Holly, Colorado. Thanks for the pictures, Dylan!
With the down time, we are getting in a little “elbow grease “, so to speak. Wash, wax, sand, prime, paint, and shine! From the camper deck and frames to the tires, truck frames and tool boxes. Every little bit makes a difference.
Crew Shenanigans involving Josh, Cody, Jordan and Zach.

We appreciate our crew and the fact that they enjoy working together and making things a little bit “better”. They would rather be in the field, but they understand it’s gonna take a little sun and wind! Yesterday, we were able to cut two loads so we are always on watch and just another sample away from “let’s roll”!
Nancy has been making the custom harvest journey with her husband, Myron, since 1982. In those early years of life on the road, she could be found in the combine or truck - along with any or all of their four children. These days, her time is mostly spent taking care of two campers, walking to the clothesline and back, cooking on the grill, paperwork in the office and windshield time in the cab of a pickup. Whatever it takes to “get ‘er done”! When Myron and Nancy aren't on the road, they call South Heart, North Dakota home.
