Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting, Inc.
This afternoon, it was my turn to host the “Lenten Movie Night”.
We all enjoyed the movie, “When the Game Stands Tall”…wonderful movie based on a true story.
A year ago, prior to Lent, friends and family decided to meet once a week during Lent to watch a faith-based movie. It was just good to get together and enjoy each other’s company and a movie.
I , of course, was super excited because it meant holding onto a few fun memories and moments of friends and family before leaving for harvest.
The positive power of these movies simply make you excited for the upcoming week and want do it all over again the next year. There are enough of these films out the there that this will continue a few more years!
Our weekly movie either precedes or follows soup and discussion. This evening, we had the tomato soup I posted a few days ago and this lemon dessert.
I also made homemade bread yesterday.
Twas a good “Sunday, Funday”! One where I counted my blessings. It has just been a joy to sit with friends and family and watch something that leaves you feeling good about life.
Moments that will forever be in my heart.
