My trusty sidekicks (Penny and Tavia) rode along for the ride.
Tavia snuck in a pose!
Still snow on the east side of the hills.
The clouds aren’t going to amount to any rain but do cast a pretty blue into things.
Riding around in the pasture checking things out, I couldn’t help but smile at the ‘ole Monte! This was our first date car! We went to “Smokey and the Bandit”! Yep, we’re that old. 😳
So feeling pretty chipper, I decided to take my Christmas present out for a drive! I have decided to call it Harvey! Because the gold is the color of harvest! We started out great (downhill) – I was feeling pretty confident.
Coming back, though, was going uphill. Things didn’t pan out, so I walked Harvey up the hill…gonna need to spend a little more time together😜
What’s for supper ? Macaroni/vegetable salad and patty melts! Was a good day!
PS…it was only a little ways to the very top of the hill. I had to walk…lol. I ran outta gas!!!!!!
Notice my friend in the lower right hand corner? Pretty sure he was there to let me know I ain’t no spring chicken anymore!
Nancy has been making the custom harvest journey with her husband, Myron, since 1982. In those early years of life on the road, she could be found in the combine or truck - along with any or all of their four children. These days, her time is mostly spent taking care of two campers, walking to the clothesline and back, cooking on the grill, paperwork in the office and windshield time in the cab of a pickup. Whatever it takes to “get ‘er done”! When Myron and Nancy aren't on the road, they call South Heart, North Dakota home.
